SAM LAMSON
CO-FOUNDER AND MANAGING PARTNER
Sam Lamson is a co-founder and managing partner of Libre Equity Partners ("LEP") where he focuses on organic growth and operational improvements. Prior to forming LEP, Sam was the president of three printing companies held by a small business aggregator (holding company). Prior to running a portfolio of small businesses, Sam was an associate in McKinsey and Company's Operations. Prior to McKinsey, Sam was a Surface Warfare Officer in the US Navy. Aboard USS COLE (DDG-67), he deployed to the Eastern Mediterranean and Black Sea. After finding and acquiring a company, Sam will focus on internal operations and developing industry specific expertise.
Sam holds a BA in Political Science with a minor in Economics from Duke University. He also has an MBA from Columbia University
ROSS HICKEY
CO-FOUNDER AND MANAGING PARTNER
Ross Hickey is a co-founder and managing partner of Libre Equity Partners ("LEP") where he focuses on organic growth and operational improvements. Prior to forming LEP, Ross worked for over 10 years as a management consultant. Most recently, he has built his own practice that focuses on growing SaaS companies. Prior to independent consulting, Ross was an engagement manager in McKinsey and Company's Operations practice where he focused on helping service companies to grow. Prior to McKinsey, Ross worked as a trading analyst at Trafigura, a commodity focused hedge fund, after starting his career at Accenture. After finding and acquiring a company, Ross will focus on organic growth.
Ross holds a BA in Economics with a minor in applied mathematics from the University of Texas at Austin.
